Data protection statement

Scope
This data protection statement informs the user about the type, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personalised data by the responsible offerer Dipl. Ing. (TU) Ralf Lang, Bövingen 150, 53804 Much, Germany, 0049 2245 919090, lang@lang-much.de on this website (hereinafter called 'offer').

The legal basis for data protection in Germany can be found in the Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz (BDSG)) and the Telemedia Act (Telemediengesetz (TMG)).

Access data/server logfiles
The offerer (or his web space provider) collects data on every access to the offer (so-called server log files). The access data include:

name of website accessed, date and time of access, transferred data volume, report on successful access, browser type and version, user's operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited site), IP address and the requesting provider.

The offerer only uses the log files for statistical analyses for the purpose of operating, and for the safety and optimisation of the offer. However, the offerer reserves the right to retroactively examine the log files if there is a concrete reason to suspect illegal use.

Handling personal data
Personal data is information with the aid of which a person can be identified, i.e. information that can be traced back to a person. This includes the name, the email address or the telephone number. However, personal data can also include information on preferences, hobbies, memberships or the websites visited.

Personal data are only collected, used and forwarded by the operator where this is allowed by law or the user has agreed to the collection of data.

Contact
When contacting the offerer (for example using a contact form or email), the user's data are stored for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case any follow-up questions arise.

Integration of services and third-party content
It is possible that third-party content, such as YouTube videos, Google Maps map material, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites, for example, are integrated in this online offer. This always assumes that the offerer of this content (hereinafter referred to as 'third-party offerer') can access the IP address of the user. Without the IP address they would not be capable of sending the content to the respective user's browser. The IP address is therefore necessary to display the content. We take care only to use content for which the respective offerer only uses the IP address to deliver the content. However, we have no influence on whether the third-party offerer stores the IP address, e.g. for statistical purposes. If this is known to us, we explain this to the user.

Cookies are small files which allow information specific to the access device of the user to be stored on the access device (PC, smartphone, etc.). On one side, they serve the user-friendliness of the website and therefore the user (e.g. storing login data). On the other, they serve to collect statistical website use data and allow them to be analysed to improve the offer. The user can influence the use of cookies.
